Chapter 1:
Gulliver travels on a voyage to the South-Sea. On his way he is shipwrecked and finds himself separated from the rest of the crew. He travels to the shore of Lilliput through the method of swimming. While he is swimming, he realizes that the depth of the water is becoming shallow at a rapid rate. Exasperated from the journey he sleeps through the night. When he wakes up, he finds that he is tied down with many ropes. Gulliver sees tiny people approximately six inches surrounding him. Gulliver is shot with many tiny needle-like arrows when he tries to get up. After being stabbed, the Lilliputians feed and provide drink for Gulliver. This hospitality and curiosity of Gulliver continues when the Emperor deploys a mechanism to bring the human to the capital city. As the chapter ends, Gulliver arrives at the Temple.
Chapter 2:
Gulliver rises after his sleep desperately needing to go to the bathroom. He empties himself and then is greeted by the Emperor. Gulliver recognizes the features of the Emperor; taller than the rest, masculine, and past his prime. After the Emperor leaves Gulliver, some miscreants decide to shoot arrows at Gulliver. Due to this action the Colonel allows Gulliver to punish the six however he may choose. Gulliver pretends to eat them alive, but instead lets the little men go. At night time, Gulliver returns to his room and the Emperor decides that a bed should be prepared for Gulliver. The Lilliputians come in large numbers to observe the foreigner. While many people gathered around him, the Emperor held council about Gulliver. The Emperor has Gulliver searched and the contents of his pocket are disclosed in a letter.
Chapter 3:
His good behavior awarded Gulliver with hopes of liberty. The Lilliputians became more comfortable around Gulliver and enjoy his company. The native people find Gulliver's hat while searching the beach in which he arrived. In order to get his freedom, Gulliver had to agree to nine conditions deemed by Skyresh Bolgolam. Gulliver agrees to these conditions and begins to look forward to his freedom.

Conflict within Gulliver's Travels (Read this all in an English accent and it will be far more entertaining!)
Gulliver vs. Nature- The oceans and winds take Gulliver to extremely desolate places. He is unable to control his destiny
Gulliver vs. Nature(Eagle)- Gulliver finds himself in a quarrel when the Eagle grasps Gulliver within his deadly talons.
Gulliver vs. Lilliput- The Lilliputians want to cut his eyes out. The battle arises when Gulliver urinates on the castle. He is not very well liked because of his size and his bodily functions.
Gulliver vs. Brobdingnag- Gulliver is captured and unable to escape the giants. He is treated like an animal instead of the human being that he is.
Gulliver vs. Self- Gulliver is unsure whether he should travel. However, he overcomes himself and chooses to travel with dignity.
Gulliver vs. Yahoos- The Yahoos want to attack Gulliver when he arrives at Houyhnhnm. They are beastly creatures that target Gulliver as a threat.
Gulliver vs. English Society- When Gulliver returns the English people outcast Gulliver. They do not understand his far fetched journeys and so Gulliver does not assimilate well back into culture.
Gulliver vs. People on his boat- The people mutiny Gulliver and overthrow him. They keep him locked in his cabin and then release him on an unknown island.
Gulliver vs. Fate- It seems as if it is Gulliver's destiny to be on these adventures. Fate has thrown Gulliver into crazy situations that Gully has to deal with.
Conflicts within our Group (Better than those in Gulliver)
Caleb and Mitch vs. Danica, Becca, and Sarah- Mitchell and Caleb are ugly and so it was really hard to work with them.
Danica vs. Everyone- Danica had problems with laughing too much and being too gorgeous.
Sarah vs. Everyone- Sarah's accent was annoying and she sucks and she spits and she has gross armpits.
Becca vs. Everyone- Becca is too pretty and innocent for this group.
Caleb vs. His mom- This is an every day battle.
Mitch vs. Himself- Mitch has problems dealing with his immaturity and his spitting problem.
Mr. Kachur vs. Our group- Mr. Kachur distracted certain members of our group (CALEB AND MITCH) and prohibited them from working efficiently.
